Fee: $125 per player. There is a $5 discount for each additional sibling registering. (Sibling example; 1st Player = $125, 2nd Player = $120, 3rd Player = $115)
All new players must bring proof of age with legal birth document. Players for U6 must be 5 by October 1st and
Players for U19 must be 18 by July 31st
August 1st is the cut-off date that determines which age group your child will play in. Whatever their age is on July 31st, will be the division they are placed-in. U6, U7, U8, U10, U12, U14, or Coed. Depending on participation, TYSL may from time to time, combine similar age groups--I.E. U7 and U8's played together in 2013.
We have opening ceremonies in later August.
Your registration fees go to sport Insurance, Team and Individual photo, Referee fees, field rentals, equipment and storage, and participation trophy's, plus additional District and CYSA fees
;After TYSL Registrations are complete, the following process begins.
TYSL volunteers begin the process of placing kids in the correct age groups and forming teams.
We then identify volunteer coaches for each team created. This is sometimes challenging as there are times when we have more players/teams then volunteer coaches.
After teams have been created, we meet with the coaches to distribute their team rosters and soccer equipment.
We ask the coaches to contact their teams by August 10th to begin practices.
We then have our opening ceremonies in late August called "Day on the Green". This is when team and individual photos will be taken. As part of your registration fees, you will receive a free team and individual photo of you child.
Games begin around/after Labor Day. Under 6 Girls play on Wednesday night, Under 6 Boys play Thursday night both at the Sports Complex, all other age groups play on a Saturday Schedule either at Plasencia Fields, Sports Complex, or Tracy Ball Park depending on how many teams are formed.
Note: All TYSL players must have the Blue TYSL Jersey, Shorts, and Socks to play. If you are registering online and/or just need a uniform, visit DAYAK's DEN to purchase before the season starts. The uniform costs is $25.
