TYSL Recreational Soccer
Our recreational soccer program is currently developed for Fall soccer. However, we have successfully hosted a Spring recreational soccer programs in the past and may in the future.
TYSL hosts ages from 5 to 18 year old soccer players
With the start of the 2016-2017 playing season, the age calculation will be based on the calendar year that is from January 1 – December 31. The playing age is derived from subtracting the ending year of the seasonal playing year, minus the birth. If a birth year falls outside of the ranges specified in the matrix below, a playing age will not be displayed as the player is either too old, or too young.
The registration for recreational Fall soccer started around mid-February through May—Late registrations may continue in June at a higher registration fee.
Practices for recreational soccer start after August 1st and games begin after Labor day. Games are played every Saturday after Labor through 1st week in November. Rain-out days may or may not be rescheduled. Under 6 program play during the week on a Wed or Thu night at the Tracy Sports Complex. Older divisions play at Plasencia Fields, Sports Complex, or Tracy Ball Park.
